Eliza serves as the director of development for the National 4-H Council, America’s largest youth development organization. Prior to this role, she served as chief of staff for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) an organization supporting minority business communities nationwide. Prior to the USHCC, she worked on the Democratic National Convention Committee, as advance staff for First Lady Michelle Obama, and in the Intergovernmental Affairs department of the Presidential Inaugural Committee. She currently volunteers as an Advisory Council member for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and on the Hispanic Advisory Committee for the National 4-H Council. Eliza was initiated by the Eta Omega Chapter at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009, where she held the positions of chapter president and executive vice president. She is a Silver Distinguished Service Award recipient, Certified Fraternity Volunteer, and has supported the fraternity in a variety of roles such as chapter advisor, section director, and ad hoc committees.
Eliza Hernandez, UNC – Charlotte ’09-Life
Tim is the President and CFO of Accurate Biometrics, a leader in fingerprint-based background checks. Tim directs all levels of the operation for more than 20 national and local government fingerprint programs, including Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Chicago Board of Education, and the California Department of Insurance. In his role, Tim is responsible for defining the company’s long-term corporate strategy and allocating resources to achieve the company’s goals, including technology, capital, and staff.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University with concentrations in accounting and finance, and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Tim was initiated by the Beta Gamma Chapter at Indiana University, where he held positions as President and Vice President of Membership. As an alumnus, he has supported the fraternity as a chapter advisor for various chapters, a case competition judge at PBLI, and as an alumni board member at the Beta Gamma Chapter.
Lisa Calandriello is an Associate Chief Auditor in the Office of the Chief Auditor at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. She provides technical direction in the development of the Board’s auditing and related professional practice standards. Lisa lead the project team on the auditor’s use of the work of specialists. Before joining the PCAOB in 2010, Lisa spent nine years in public accounting, working primarily on banks, broker-dealers, and pension plans.
Since being initiated into the Lambda Nu Chapter at American University in 1997, Lisa has been involved at the local, regional, and national level within AKPsi, including serving as a chapter advisor to the Omega Theta and Omega Lambda chapters, regional manager, area vice president, and foundation director, and serving as a member of the joint Fraternity and Foundation audit committee. In 2011, Lisa was awarded the First Degree Silver Distinguished Service Award for her service to the Mideast Region and Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation. Lisa currently serves as Treasurer of the Foundation Board and is a member of its Executive Committee.
Lisa received her B.S. in accountancy from American University in Washington, DC. Lisa is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC.
Lisa A. Calandriello, American University ’97-Life
Since 2004, Steve has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. His international education career spans over two decades, starting with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program in Fukuoka, Japan in 1995. Prior to moving to Asia, Steve worked in retail for 10 years, as well as spent some time in the hospitality and telecommunication industries. He has a B.S.B.A. in marketing as well as a certificate in Latin American studies from the University of Florida. He has also completed numerous graduate courses at the College of Management, Mahidol University. Steve was initiated into the Alpha Phi Chapter in 1986, where he served in several leadership positions including executive vice president, professional committee chair, and alumni secretary. An AKPsi-Life member, Steve is a recipient of the first and second degree Silver Distinguished Service Awards, was a founding brother or four alumni chapters – Florida Gold Coast, ASEAN, Greater Gator, and Hong Kong, and served the fraternity as an alumnus for several regions in a variety of roles, including district director, section director, regional manager, and College of Leadership speaker. He is passionate about alumni relations and the alumni experience as well as international fraternal outreach.
Jeff is a Director of Professional Services at GroupeX Solutions, a provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, based in Toronto, Ontario. He supervises a team of functional and technical consultants and acts as a solution architect for complex projects utilizing WorkForce Software time & attendance, scheduling, and leave management products. Jeff graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BBA in Information Systems in 1987. His fraternal experience includes serving as master of rituals, treasurer, and president at the collegiate level as well as chapter advisor for the Motor City Alumni Chapter. In addition, he has served as a district director, regional director, chaired the standing Constitution Committee, and is a founder and former vice-chair of the Judiciary Committee. Jeff is a two-time recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. He SCUBA dives love photography and collects AKPsi memorabilia, some of which can be found on display at the Heritage Center.

Alpha Kappa Psi is pleased to announce the appointment of Lea Goodwin, Louisiana State ’99, as the Southern Delta Regional Director. The appointment takes effect immediately. Lea was initiated in 1999 at Louisiana State University’s Beta Chi chapter as a re-chartering founder and is also a founder of the Crescent City Alumni Chapter in New Orleans.
Before her appointment as Regional Director, Lea, a Silver DSA recipient, served as a Fraternity Manager, on the Southern Delta RMT as Section Director for Louisiana since 2014, and as the Chapter Advisor for LSU intermittently for a total of eight years.
Professionally, Lea is a Project Management Professional (PMP) in the healthcare industry, focusing on healthcare analytics/business intelligence and business development. Lea has over 25 years of experience in information technology and over 15 years of project/program management experience in overseeing diverse and complicated tasks with a track record of success in implementation of complicated deliverables.
The regional director is a volunteer position that is charged with the specific responsibility of ensuring a quality student experience through effective chapter operations. Working in conjunction with appointed section directors, the regional director is the first line supervisor of chapters, chapter officers and chapter advisors in a specific geographical area.
